Speed started relationship with Lauren Scott, a Twitch-streamer in the year 2018. Lauren Speed Hamilton founded "The Speed Brand," an Atlanta business that supports artists to market their work digitally. The company also has an "Hanging with Hamiltons" Hoodie line of merchandise. "
The sister of Season 1 Contestant Mark Cuevas, Melissa Cuevas has stated she believes that "none" in the series is scripted in response to a comment from a fan on social media. Reportedly, even the show's producers show were awed by some results of the series.
The series continues to pay an income to its stars. In a lawsuit filed by Jeremy Hartwell during season two in 2022, it was discovered that Netflix paid for the Love Is Blind contestants $1,000 for each show they aired.
